Six people were killed and several others injured in a shooting incident in Rot am See, Germany in the early hours of Friday (January 24). Police said a suspect was arrested after the incident and no other suspects are believed to be at large.
Local news reports quoted police spokesperson Holger Binert as saying initial information available to the authorities suggest the suspect and at least one of the victims knew each other. Rot am See is located about 170 kms from Munich.
