Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is faring well at the box office. The film has crossed Rs 75-crore mark in just four days of release.

Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is on a money making spree. The film, directed by Om Raut, is doing exceptionally well at the box office earning a whopping 75 crore in just four days of release.

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is a period film based on the life of Tanaji Mausare, a Maratha soldier in the Army of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film opened with Rs 15.10 crore on Friday and went on to make Rs 20.57 crore and Rs 26.26 crore in the next two days. On Monday it earned Rs 13.75 crore taking the total collection to Rs 75.68 crore. On Tuesday, it is expected to earn Rs 12 crore.

Apart from Ajay Devgn, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior sees a spectacular performance by Saif Ali Khan who plays the Mughal fortkeeper Udaybhan Rathod. In a negative role this time, Saif yet again showed his versatility. Kajol plays the role of Savitribai Malusare, wife of Tanaji. The chemistry between the husband and wife is being appreciated by the cine-goers.

Despite receiving mixed response from film critics Tanhaji: Tha Unsung Warrior is faring well at the box office which can be attributed to its CGI and action sequences. The makers have tried to present a real life story in a superhero film format, which is being liked by the audience.
