
Two TikTokers desecrate idol in a temple; arrested
An exasperating video has surfaced the Internet which showed a person vandalizing the idol in a temple in Shapar Veraval industrial zone in Rajkot.
After the video went viral, the persons were arrested by Police on Wednesday.
The accused seen in the camera has been identified as Jayesh Chudasma (27) while the other who shot the video identified as Dinesh Mahida (25). They recorded the deplorable crime scene to upload it on TikTok, WhatsApp, and other social media platforms.
Both accused upload the video on June 28. The accused men told police that they were heavily drunk when they had committed the crime.

In the clip, Chudasma can be seen desecrating the idol, while Mahida was filming the act.
One of the residents of Metoda GIDC found the video extremely offensive as it is hurting the religious sentiments. He conducted the inquiry into the matter and found that the video was committed in Shapar Veraval industrial zone, TOI reports said.
According to an official from Shapar Veraval police station, as soon as the complaint was lodged, they took the action and traced the accused.
In the video, the accused man was smoking inside the temple premises and also wearing slippers. Both of the accused are labourers. They told police that they are looking for a subject to make a TikTok video in a bid to become an Internet star. Hence, they got an idea to desecrate the idol in a temple.
The accused also told police that they were in an inebriated condition when they had committed the crime.
Later, the accused made another video saying sorry for what they have done inside the temple and shared it on WhatsApp and social media.
