Hyderabad – Woman sexually assaulted by TikTok friend on pretext of marriage
A 27-year-old woman sexually assaulted by a TikTok friend who sexually assaulted her multiple times on the pretext of marrying her.
The woman, a resident of Old City met Akbar Shah (34), a resident of Nasheman Nagar of Talabkatta. The accused professed his love and promised to marry her. He then took her to his sister’s house in Tolichowlki where he sexually assaulted the woman.
However, he got engaged with the woman in the presence of their relatives and again assaulted her sexually a few days later.

Later, he has gone absconding. Unable to trace him, the woman approached the Chandrayangutta police who found that Akbar was already married and also has four children.
The police launched a hunt to nab the accused. An investigation is underway.
