
The Delhi Police has identified the person who fired during the violent protests over the Citizenship Act (CAA). Police said that a youth named Shah Rukh fired during a violent demonstration in North-East Delhi. At present, the Delhi Police has taken the youth into custody.

Five people including a police constable died in this violent demonstration. Also, about 70 people are reported injured.
A young man fired a pistol at a policeman during violence in support and opposition to the amended Citizenship Act (CAA) in various parts of north-east Delhi. After this, he also fired. In the video, the young man was seen running towards the policeman.

According to the video, the youth opened fire in Zafarabad during the violence. Stones were also seen around the road. The Delhi Police has appealed people not to trust rumors and maintain peace in the wake of the violence. A policeman was also killed in the Zafarabad violence.
Prohibitory orders have been imposed in the violence-affected area of North East Delhi under Section 144 of the CrPC. Under this, four or more people are prohibited from gathering in one place. Police said, “There have been some incidents of violence and arson in areas of North East Delhi, especially in Maujpur, Kardampuri, Chand Bagh and Dayalpur.”
